When coach Mike D'Antoni said that the season was going to begin from last sunday for lakers,I thought he was trying to conciliate players and the franchise but watching today's game against Milwaukee with all those good&timely rotations I am starting to believe that he has got an occult plan rescuing the lakers from a fiasco and keeping their post-season hopes alive.
The Lakers had a good game overall,their ball movement and transition defence brought joy in the faces at the staples center.The Bucks cut down the lead to 3 points before the end of 3rd quarter but they looked enervated as they moved to 4th quarter.
Both Kobe and Dwight had a big game tonight finishing with 31 points.Especially 4th quarter was just like a fairy-tale in the staples centre. Kobe making those impossible shots from acute angles,dwight with those alley-oops and making his preasence felt at defensive end. Los Angeles lakers take on Miami HEAT on thursday at staples center.
The lakers won their first one in style when the heat is increasing in locker room.Although its not a game showing lakers complete caliber but they got it at the right moment.Though Pistons defence was terrible they were some strong physical plays by howard reminding us the howard@orlando.While the fans and franchise are lamenting the loss of steve nash for atleast a month(due to small fracture on leg), todays win should give some hope.

Dwight howard is slowly showing the glimpses of what he is truely capable of in purple n gold uniform.He had an all-star night with 28 points and 7 rebounds which consists of some easy hoops created by kobe and pau.

Steve Blake 3/5 Couldn't ask him more than this and filled the void of nash-absence quite well without creating any panic in the staples center,but it wont be a cake walk playing against elite point guards.
Pau Gasol 3/5 Pau had an awesome start in the first quarter triggering the flow of lakers offence and had some good defence in the paint.We should watch out for the chemistry between him and howard.Pau undoubtedly makes his fellow players better and more fun to watch.
Lakers Bench 2.75/5 There's nothing much they could do in this match but should step up more.Antawn Jamison should find his way back soon in this lakers uniform and provide some qulaity minutes,taking some burden off from the starters
